Formerly known as Emeraid I, Emeraid Carbo-Boost is a tube-feeding formula high in carbohydrates.

Recommended Use

• Carbo-Boost provides rapid absorption of calories.
• May also be added to water to hide the taste of some medications.

• A mixture of simple and complex carbohydrates osmotically compatible for rapid absorption.
• A rich source of calories (1 kcal/ml) compared to 5% dextrose (0.2 kcal/ml).

Contains no protein, fat, vitamins, or minerals.

Preparation and Feeding Directions

Dissolves best in very warm water, 105-110ºF (41-43ºC).

Carbo-Boost may be added to other formulas to provide additional calories (dissolve Carbo-Boost in water first).

Storage and Shelf-life

Refrigerate upon arrival. The shelf-life of Emeraid Carbo-Boost is approximately one year from the date of manufacturing.
