Feeding Directions
Emeraid Carnivore reliably passes through 5 Fr flexible tubing, 16 gauge feeding needles, or larger tubes. - Ideally formula should be prepared immediately before feeding and no more than 30 minutes before feeding. Reheating is not advised.
- Measure one level scoop of powder (equivalent to 10 grams). Do not pack powder. Place powder in the mixing container, then shake powder.
- Add 25 ml of water (105-110ºF or 41-43ºC)
- Shake mixture vigorously.
- Keep feeding tube and syringe containing formula in warm water until ready to feed.
- Do not load feeding tube with formula until immediately before feeding.
