Emeraid Carnivore is designed to meet the metabolic needs of critically ill birds such as birds of prey. This diet may be fed as a sole or partial source of nutrition.

Feeding Directions

Emeraid Carnivore reliably passes through 5 Fr flexible tubing, 16 gauge feeding needles, or larger tubes.

1. Ideally formula should be prepared immediately before feeding and no more than 30 minutes before feeding. Reheating is not advised.
2. Measure one level scoop of powder (equivalent to 10 grams). Do not pack powder. Place powder in the mixing container, then shake powder.
3. Add 25 ml of water (105-110ºF or 41-43ºC)
4. Shake mixture vigorously.
5. Keep feeding tube and syringe containing formula in warm water until ready to feed.
6. Do not load feeding tube with formula until immediately before feeding.
